NATURE
There is a valley where life goes on at another pace and the colours of the seasons mark the passing of time. A small, playful stream runs through it, which is called the Riu Corb (or Crow River). It is also ventilated by a wind that blows from afar: the “marinada”, or sea breeze. In this area, which has been farmed by man for centuries, grow almonds, olives, vines and cereals. Along the margins of its fields, it is possible to find poppies, thyme and St. John’s wort. This tapestry is completed by woods of holm oak, oak and pine. The history of this land is told by its dry-stone walls, towers, huts, old mills, churches and castles. To really discover this valley, it is necessary to walk around, explore and enjoy it.
The Corb Valley contains the villages and municipalities of L’Urgell, La Segarra and La Conca de Barberà. They are joined by the River Corb, which winds its way through cultivated croplands, vineyards, almond groves, and landscapes that retain all the charm and beauty of nature in its purest form. In the Corb Valley, it is possible to breathe peace and quiet... We await your visit.
