The Centre de Fauna del Pont de Suert (Alta Ribagorça) was founded in 1995. Its initial purpose was to protect the otter and to raise awareness to its needs and those of its natural environment. Now the centre focuses on semi-aquatic mammals (including otters and European mink).

The centre is located on the premises of the Fish Farm of El Pont de Suert and also includes a building typical of the hydro-electric installations of the 1950s and 1960s.
